• Parent & Child Playtime – The Oak Lawn Park District’s Special Recreation Department is offering a Parent & Child Playtime Program that will meet at the Dream Center (9600 E. Shore Dr.) on Saturdays beginning June 5 from 10 – 11am. This program is a great opportunity for you to play with your child(ren) while connecting with others in a wonderful park-like setting. Experienced and knowledgeable staff will be on hand. This program is open to children ages newborn through 3. • All About Me Playtime – The Oak Lawn Park District’s Special Recreation Department is offering an All About Me Playtime Program that will meet at the Dream Center (9600 E. Shore Dr.) on Saturdays beginning June 5 from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm. This is wonderful time for your children to come to and enjoy the company of others, as they explore the many activities available. Experienced and knowledgeable staff will engage them in individual and group activities, which are sure to inspire them to grow and learn. This program is open to children ages 3 through 5. • Parent Forum & Support Group for Parents of Children with Disabilities – The Oak Lawn Park District’s Special Recreation Department offers a monthly Parent Forum & Support Group for Parents of Children with Disabilities the third Thursday of every month at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St., beginning at 7 pm. Come out once a month to discuss, review, and suggest new ideas or program strategies. Also, meet other parents of children with disabilities.
